I disagree whole heartedly.
As long as you are both upfront with it and it doesn't affect your work. Nothing of it. I have had 1 get messy a few years ago where the husband found out and came to the office... That was a bit awkward. But if you both know how to play the game, have at it, you spent most of your awake time at the office anyway. Why not make it a more fun place for yourself.

It didn't work out very well for me. When it went bad I was stuck working with them, etc. Having said that, would I do it again, probably. Was I warned about it beforehand and ignored all advice, yup.

When I was 43 which is 9 years ago, I was an IT consultant for a place that did aluminium shop fronts etc. One of the females that worked there was a red head. She always has a problem with her piece of junk PC. I got her boss to replace it with something decent and she was grateful and we hooked up after that. But she was young and when you got a girlfriend that is 3 years older than your eldest daughter it gets a bit much.

As an employer, I have no issue with this, but if the relationship or subsequent break up affects your work performance, your ass is grass.

Had to fire a guy in 2018 who simply could not get over the fact that he was dumped, and he ended up getting very disruptive.

My one friend committed suicide because she supposedly had an affair and her husband found out.

Another discovered her husband had an affair with the new girly programmer. He divorced and married her.
