I just heard on 5FM aswell as read it here news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip...ransfers/8045187.stm that Man Utd and Real Madrid have agreed on a 70 million Euro move.. So far its still in the gossip column, So I hope its not true! :(
 
I don't get why he wants to go there of all places. They're not exactly the hottest club atm. Then again, he could change that...

You know what pisses me off about Ronaldo?

Is that only now he has said he doesnt want to goto Madrid. He used to flirt with the media every chance he got. He is to blame for this entire saga. If i was a United supporter he would piss me off.

True dat! You should thank Drogba for being a prat. At least you have something else to read about apart form Ronaldo. Imagine how quiet Goal.com would be if there was no petulance/idiocy/<insert fave tagline here> from our two favorite primadonnas... :D

Now all we need is a Messi sex scandal, a few Iniesta adverts for suntan lotion and a series on articles written by Lampard on "How to lose wheight" and we can comfortably off ourselves. :p

fame and fortune... good for him generate a lot of moolah/advisiting etc it's like Paris Hilton... everyone hates her but everyone wants to hear what happens :D

Just rumors, theres no ways fergie would create this much upheaval in the club 2 weeks before the Champs League final and the end of the EPL. It just doesn't happen! theres a transfer window for a reason!

And even once the seasons ended i honestly don't see Ronaldo leaving, he's said so himself time and time again. And why would he go from a team thats about to win their own league and is in the final of the CL to a team who cant win their own league (6-2 loss to barca.. lol!) and never even made the quarter finals of the CL??
 
Reason he wants to leave is that believe or not, Real Madrid has more history and has achieved more than any club in the world.

Players dream of playing for them one day. Sadly.

That's a moronic reason if I ever heard of one. Instead of focusing on a clubs history, why not make your own. This is why Fergie is so successful with United. He made United BETTER than Liverpool. Trophy wise, popularity wise... everything. Shanks did it for Liverpool in the 60's (IINM)...

Ronaldo could be part of a Platinum United generation. I reckon he will stay just because of that. Fergie could make the Real side of the 50's pale in comparison to his side of the next 6 years (if he stays that long mind...)...

United will never do what Real Madrid did. Yes, i know...never say never. But i find it HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE to achieve what they did.

I know dude, but what gets me is that players will opt to go to a club with a rich history like Real or somesuch instead of seeing to making their names big in another club. Imagine Lamps, Cole, Carrick, Ferdinand all stayed with West Ham and Harry Redknapp was there still. They could have been a major force. Money destroyed them. They were greedy. Sell the players for lots of money so that they then have money to compete (erm... stupid?!)
