What did you pay for it originally?
And what have you spent so far?
Well I paid 14k for a running car and spend around another 40-60k on parts and upgrades
My coilovers cost more than the car lol

This is when I wish I lived in the UK where you can buy things like old Porsches and such for no money at all.
People spend tons of cash on games they never own to play on systems that will never be cutting edge only to forget about them once the next hit arrives.
At least he can sell the leftovers for scrap.

It's all about doing something with your time that you enjoy doing.
Someone else probably doesn't enjoy it and therefore doesn't understand it.
A friend of mine did a bolt on turbo conversion to his 318i e36 a few years ago, the build is on the e30 forum somewhere.
Ran it on standard internals and made around 180kw.
I plan on building a low comp motor using a china gt35r turbo and converting my motor from 2.5l to 2.8l using a mixture of oem parts
boosting at 0.7 bar
Should get around 260wkw
I have an e30 325is with 2.8 24v motor running a T61 turbo with a 5 speed M3 gearbox. I haven't driven the car in over 5 years though and its just gathering dust.
I also used to cast bottom mount turbo manifolds for these motors. I also have savspeed manifold here in my flat and a 330 crank.
I already ordered my manifold cost me 3500 I think sav speed is like 8500
if my interest in cars were to be rekindled, I will probably replace my motor with the S50, they are quite cheap these days
But KAR is a very very stingy Dyno.
