Iam having exteamly bad dsl issues at the moment , its been going on for a couple months now and just seems to be getting worst, my router also seems to almost lag when i log into the web interface and it sometimes just displays a white screen , which makes me think my router is packing up it never use to do this ? , can i rule out my line with the stats below

Have you tried to reset the router to its default settings and then upgrade the firmware - if this fails to correct the issue bin it!

Yep I would say router too. Can try the reset as suggested and see if it works, personally I would donate it to the trash or a recycling centre.

Your line stats are still better than mine was when I still had my 4meg line and mine was pretty stable.

my line stats seem to be even better now , but they will randomly drop then soon after my line will dc again , even with this new router i bought

You should check how your exchange is running today, maybe its a problem there. Your line stats do look fine but it may be worth a try dropping your line speed to increase your stats to see if the problem persists.
If it does then you can be almost certain its your adsl router.

I did get a new router this morning. (Dlink dsl-2640u)
SNR Margin (dB): Down 18.7 Up 12.0
and the Attenuation is about the same , its defently the line, gave telkom a call they said they cant see anything wrong but they are putting the techys on it
