All the signs of a scam (continued)!!!

These guys keep moving address and changing their name.
Just received an email with all their camera "specials" from one "Colin" from company called "Perfect Image" - again from a new address:
* Perfect Image, with address as, 74 Van Zyl Street, Bloemfontein

Previously they appeared as:
* Incredible Gadgets, with address as, 47 Kellner Street, Bloemfontein.
* Pro Digital, with address as, c/o Bok Street & Toronto Road, Welkom.

More than just a little suspect...

I must admit his modus operandi has improved a little bit. He spoofed a legitamate and well known camera shop in PE in the first mail.

Careful guys, that saying about fools and their money applies here.

1. Your post count.
2. Login/signup all over plaintext
3. Appears to be hosted on someone's MWEB ADSL line.
4. No address or phone number anywhere on that site.

Then again, looking at it a little closer, you can't seem to buy anything from the site, so I guess it's OK.

Just want to mention the excellent service I got from SACamera.

Ordered a spare battery for my Nikon D7000.
-Firstly they were quite cheap, only R399 for a nikon original battery (plus R75 shipping)
-Placed the order yesterday at 13:00
-Received it this morning in Pretoria at 09:45
-And they included a R75 voucher for any future purchase

SACamera is selling the Nikon 55-200mm f4-5.6 AF-S ED VR DX Zoom Lens for R899.

Pretty good price IMO if your looking for a zoom on a budget to compliment your 18-55 kit lens. Ordered one for my mother's D3000.

Same lens is R995 on ORMS and R2995 on outdoorphoto (:wtf:)
 
To be fair to ODP, it's not even the same lens so don't take the unfair price comparison into account.

You're right :o I compared the two for a while and never noticed a difference.

Easy to miss :p
 
Actually I think they're both the G version (which if not means the cheap one is not in production) but the ODP lens has IF (internal focusing).

The description on sacamera states that it too has IF, just to confuse people further. Anyway I don't dispute they are different, sacamera have both listed. Be it as it may, I'm sure the cheap one is more than sufficient for my mother.
 
It's a real bargain no doubt. I'm sure she'll enjoy it tremendously.

That's good to hear. I'm about to buy a 100mm 2.0 from them and haven't used SACamera before.

Twice had very prompt service from them, so I will definately use them again. Btw, I have a R75 voucher that you can have if you haven't bought yet, otherwise I'll pass it to another mybb member.
