Maybe go to the Samsung and Apple stores and play with each to get a feel for the device and how it operates. Might not give you a really accurate answer, but could help you decide.

Comes down to personal preference and what you want out of your device, and how customisable you want it to be.

Apple ecosystem is very different to Android.

I have the iPhone 6 and the wife has the Note4, and it's preference. They are both great devices.
If you comparing the iPhone 6 and the Note4, then exclude the iPhone5S (in my personal opinion)

I have an S5 and love it.
Note 4 is bigger than S5 but S5 has better Accidental warranty and is waterproof.

Anyway, they all have advantages
