Don't have my iPad at work but look here - http://www.imore.com/edit-text-define-words-ipad
As one can see, it seems that Apple has managed to do something quite incredible with battery life. Normally an 1810 mAh battery with 3.82V nominal voltage would be quite a poor performer, but the iPhone 6 is a step above just about every other Android smartphone on the market. The iPhone 6 Plus also has a strong showing, although not quite delivering outrageous levels of battery life the way the Ascend Mate 2 does. That's it for now, but the full review should be coming in the near future.
LOL try it from email.
Open your email, press a word then press dictionary.
ah ok, that's cool. but can you view the video tutorial at the same time and try it yourself?
Which email? Is it not a globally supported feature? What keyboard are you using?
Probably not but on the flip side at least you don't need to leave an app to work out it's definition![]()
More benchmarks from Anand this time:

Battery life also looks great:
Some of the google things give you a search option when you highlight words instead of the dictionary option.
Swiftkey.

I'm using Swiftkey as well, no Dictionary option when words selected, just the standard select all, cut, copy and paste icons at the top.
Nevermind the Iphones...that Nvidia shield is a beast. The Tegra K1 chipset is to die for.
And I believe that same chipset will be in the new Nexus phone?
Yea, most give me cut copy paste etc then search or dictionary.
Tapatalk only cut copy and paste.

I'm using swype, with a keyboard shortcut I can do a web search, but that's not the same.
It's a tablet, not a phone.
The GPU of the K1 is monstrous. The Shield benchmarks are insane. But in phones it's all about balance and power consumption and I'm unsure how it fares on that side.
