Hmmm wonder what's really behind this.
Watch - new product range/generation will be launched shortly - theyre just cleaning out old stock
He's predicting a new revision. That iPod Touch IS the third gen, i.e. the latest range...
If so, their profit margins on current stock have just plummeted, lol...Wouldn't Digicape have to buy from Core?
iPod Touch - 64gb from Amazon - $354.54 = R2,636 vs. our 'cheap' price of R4299

Slap on the shipping, bru. And not the "I'll wait 6 weeks for it" shipping. The one that equates to driving to the iShop and picking up your new iPod today... That'll be a much more fair comparison.

The UK price for the 160gb Classic is still around R600 cheaper. It's a pity no other mp3 player manufacturers create players with that amount of storage.
Haha, nice to see a drop at least but I dont see how a 'positive dollar shipment' alone leads to R1000+ reductions....
Plus I though we dont get stock from USA so whats the dollar got to do with it in the first place?
Yeah I did... Treat all mail from Barons as spam...On a different note altogether, has anyone received an email from Barons VW about an iPod/iPad giveaway? checkout http://www.8486.co.za/
Sounds very cryptic....not sure how legit it is...http://www.8486.co.za/

Nice price drops on the Touch series, yet their biggest sellers (Nano) only gets R 300 - R 500 cuts.
Are they going to discontinue the Nano range ? Who would pay R1699 for the 8G Nano when you can get the 8G Touch for for R 300 bucks more.
