SA lagging in broadband speeds

Seriously, my response to all of this as of late is:

Followed by a:

FFS!

As if, people, as if! Same bull****, different day.
 
local broadband users may find themselves on the wrong end of the digital divide.

Already happened a long long long time ago......sigh...
 
Telkom needs to see that they are crippling the country. 1Gbits that insane :eek: even 77MBPS:eek: we get 150KB/s if we lucky :(

We need help in SA. ASAP or we will stay at the bottom like we are
 
All these international comparison articles help to achieve is to depress us even more :(
 
Sigh. . . Where did we go wrong, oh now i remember, Telkom are in charge for now, thats where we went wrong . . . Da gavament must do sumfing, but they are in bed wiff Telkrom and pocket beeg cash all the way. Eish. :(:(:(:(:(:(
 
Its so lame to see how far behind we are. I mean we hosting a huge international event (2010) and telkom still offer dail-up internet and have internet speeds that most non athletic people can run faster than. Gosh.

I dont really care about the speed these days, 1M line is good enough for now... we need bigger CAPS!!! sure, give us a 1G line with a 3GB cap...

Speed is worthless if you cant use it.

I am so sick and tired of reading article of article telling us how pathetic our service is. Imaging the day we read something like "1GB connection now available at R200 per month uncapped"

That will be the day I march down to parliament and shake the big mans hand. However the way I it is going I will probably miss it cause I am going to be dead and gone along time before anything like that happens.

*sigh*
 
I have a 512 line at home, however, downloads were cruising at 6kbp/s last night :-/

WTF am I paying for? Or maybe I've done too much gaming and they are limiting me :O

sad state of affairs indeed and Government don't give a flying squirrels ass about "their"people and i say "their" cause it includes everyone.

Always negative, nothing constructive...

Why does this website seem to feed on the negative and never focus on finding real actionable solutions :confused:

There are some intellegence within the members of this website, but all of our energy is wasted on complaining and not on trying to solve the problems at hand :rolleyes:

Why??

Why not turn this great website into a productive tool through which real change can occur? Build, instead of breaking down... :)
