You assume, empires have come and gone, many believed they'd last centuries and they might've. But they're no longer here. You never know when you'll be around when an empire starts to crumble.

Easiest option to achieve that for anyone in those metros, don't vote for Bosa or RISE, Vote for ActionSA.

Don't vote for ATM, ACT, PAC, APC Azapo, just vote for the EFF.

Zulus can either vote for IFP or MK.

Afrikaners are also pointless with their Freedom Front, maybe just vote for the DA in Joburg. ACDP as well, vote for the DA, yes, wishful thinking of know.

Don't vote for the SACP, COPE, labour parties and all that, vote for the ANC.

Ah now we've reached the point where everyone who doesn't vote the same as you is uneducated. Maybe we should just make the DA the only party and Godzille Emperor of South Africa for life. Would that make you happy? Or would you find something else to bitch about?

Then again we've got some on here with "education" who believe the ANC.

Education can lead to better understanding of the world, when you live in squalor and your voting habits keeps you living in squalor. Education may be the problem, or your lack of wanting to change. Which we've seen with some other forumites who like to moan but don't vote at all.
Also who says I voted DA or do you just assume anyone who disagrees with the ANC voted the DA? You do make a lot of assumptions it seems.

The only assumption I make is that you and most of MyBB are a bunch of Chicken Little's. And it's not too far off as assumptions go

US democracy is functioning fine. Orange turd will do lot of damage in the world as long as he is around but they will pick it up in next iteration.

Empire is different than democracy. UK democracy is functioning fine. US is not an empire either.

Sadly it now seems the non DA populace believes that the DA controls and manipulates the economy, hence the reason why they are still in the GNU. They Believe the DA must get out of the GNU in order to re-align the economy. They have Zero understanding of the role the rest of the world see's in the DA's involvement in the DA. Sadly with this level of misunderstanding and sheer ignorance we will never be able to progress.

Empires is a turn of phrase, to indicate even those who believed themselves to be immortal have crumbled. The history were massive empires, some of them were even the forebears of democracy.
But this is all OP, as we're talking about the crumbling South Africa.

And perception is everything in politics, politics in its very nature has never been about facts, it's about creating perceptions and managing perceptions, the party that strikes the best balance between the two win.
