Well the motion involving our ward was accepted due to the ANC, EFF, ASA etc, and our DA ward councillor voting for it with the bulk of the DA outside the building.

What was the motion and what will it change in your ward?

Looks like you guy is about to be shown the door, the DA doesn't tolerate voting with the opposition.

It involved the sinkholes in the Lyttelton and included the councillor handing in a petition as well.

So it is going to basically change nothing at the end of the day.

Yes I'm playing Devils Advocate to some degree, but one needs to understand that decisions in Council either take forever to filter down to actual activity, or they are just posturing

All the current sinkholes are due to leaking municipal and rand water infrastructure and they occurred during when the ANC and DA was in control of the municipality. I should note the water pipes in question are asbestos pipes at around 50 years old. There was a plan in place to replace them when the old Centurion municipality existed but that got shelved with the introduction of Tshwane municipality.

Can I see the technical report supporting that or is it classified information?

That's the problem with the EFF, they are a one trick pony and they can't seem to grasp the fact that while their politics of disruption and theatrics was entertaining for a while, there comes a time when they have to move on.
But John did bed his comrade's wifey...
