What is wrong with waiting for your opponent to self destruct and claim the spoils?
What is the ANC’s plan to grow the party?

Last time I asked her about "common sense". She said she'd never heard of one.No idea, why don't you ask Zille? Apparently she is fluent in Xhosa.
It's not a hope, the decline is inevitable. The question is who those people will vote for.Straight from the Gogo's mouth, totally out of ideas on how to grow the party.

Helen Zille says DA relying on ANC’s disintegration to become majority party
DA is the second-largest party in the GNU, but sees itself becoming the majority party over the next decadewww.businesslive.co.za
All John has to do is to get another supremely competent person from his party and offer them as replacement.
No need for drama. He can easily find supremely competent person from DA. I can give at least 75 names on this mybb, if he asks me.
Statement by President Cyril Ramaphosa on the removal of Deputy Minister Whitfield | The Presidency

Don't worry, it will soon dawn on you that being the biggest party with 20% is useless. What is wrong with waiting for your opponent to self destruct and claim the spoils?

Viva ANC. Before the ANC everybody was playing harps and corruption was unknown, a modern Western thing. Don't make it so easy.I thought you were interested in knowing what is corruption in Xhosa?
The DA must supply the President with the name or names of candidates to replace Whitfield and we move on, no one has time for all this drama.
1. Introduce a Motion of No Confidence. The ANC's enemies will be frothing at the mouth to stab Cereal in the back.
LOL Half of teh ANC would vote for that MoncRamaphosa's highly irrational and frankly crazy decision to fire Whitfield will so easily backfire. What stops the DA from initiating the following process:
1. Introduce a Motion of No Confidence. The ANC's enemies will be frothing at the mouth to stab Cereal in the back.
2. If the MONC passes, a new process to elect an executive unfolds. GNU 2.0 loads. All bets are off here.
3. Even if the MONC fails, the ANC will have no choice but to boot the DA. This will then be seen as them collapsing the GNU.
I think we all know that this will be very bad for SA. But the narrative is 100% that the ANC caused this. The media is very on-board with this. Just another act of self-sabotage that the ANC performs on a day-to-day basis
Lol, I am not the one telling them what to do, the President has said they must supply him with the name of a replacement, I am still very happy if they choose not to.What makes you think the DA would allow some common left winger on the internet to tell them what to do?

The "checkmate" that the ANC thought they delivered by firing a DA Deputy Minister with no real powers will backfire horribly. It is not possible for the DA to go along with such a direct and threatening move. This was a declaration of war and they have no choice but to strike back as hard and fast as possible. Cereal serves at the pleasure of the DA and he has just torpedoed his Presidency. Mark this post as the turning point in his career.
The DA would be critical of MONCs right now they have been losing a lot of those recently, I don't think they even recall when last they successfully passed a MONC.Ramaphosa's highly irrational and frankly crazy decision to fire Whitfield will so easily backfire.
