Yes, the most valuable Rand note will buy you a beer with some change in London. Which shows just how worthless the SA currency is.

Also Paulie needs to temper his expectations of the types of hotels he can use. I think a Road lodge should be good enough, and can be safer cos we can book out the entire facility for less than he spends on a single suite atm.

R125m and three contractors later, still no water for Eastern Cape villages​


Onto its third contractor and R125-million later, the Ngqamakwe water scheme in Tsomo, Eastern Cape, remains unfinished.


It was meant to be completed in 2022, when the Department of Water and Sanitation allocated R646-million over three years to Amathole District Municipality (ADM) to mitigate drought in the region.

No one in DA except Helen zille would opt for austerity measures such as this - if they become DP.
