So, I am in the middle here. Nothing has been done is a stretch as lot of recovery has been done.

However, by nothing, most of us mean that there have been no successful prosecutions/prison sentences as a result of zondo commission recommendations on state capture.

Is this directly from the Zondo commission? I think we can agree the main problem is acting on commissions when an ANC minister is accused of fraud and or corruption.

I am sure 'other' side is entitled to examine/challenge that evidence. Otherwise, do you expect to present evidence against me and have legal system to arrest me immediately ?
Interesting that you choose to focus on the evidence part, but not the rest of the post.

It's been proven that he committed a criminal offence in lying to parliament, and that on its own should be fireable.
I am reading between the lines here, what's your view on the DA calling for a suspension on Mchunu but call for Nkabane to be fired if they are being accused of the same thing?

Looks like an odd inconsistency?
Agreed, it's a bit weird. If anything they should be consistent in Mchunu being fired especially since they also layed criminal charges against him for lying to parliament.

Simelane is actually the one who would be suspended as the allegations haven't been proven yet. Nkabane had also been caught lying to parliament and should be fired...

Why has no journalist asked the president or his spokespersons about the two previous commissions of inquiries into the SAPS and why their recommendations have never been implemented?

Did any of those reports flag the same general concerns that led to the current fiasco? Does anyone even know what was in those reports? Are they public documents?

Why do none of these journos ask real and serious questions like these instead of just reprinting press releases?

All ANC supporting journalists (aka New Dawners) do indeed look the same to me
Cool, but one day we really have to talk about finding a way

Cool, but one day we need to talk about all the things you recall that are not based on reality, it is a cause for concern when reality and fiction starts to become a blur.

The Ramamessiah, being a being of divine perfection and representative of all that is good and pure in the world, does not need press conferences.

Nein bra, that man is so scared of a proper press conference... Family meetings all the way, then nobody can ask questions of daddy.

Still trying to convince everyone that you didn’t disappear on a 3 week meditation retreat after the 2024 election results? As someone else noted, we must have all gone into a collective hallucination because we all saw it 😂
