Many are going to use this scandal to drive and push forward their malicious agendas unfortunately.

Who says what and when must be studied carefully before people rush to the streets en mass.

It's nice however seeing white South Africans back on the streets protesting the current administration, thought that was only reserved for Mosholozi.

It's not stupid.

You are not paying attention to what happens to whistleblowers in South Africa.

He needs support because the powerful and corrupt are going to to try to shut him down. The people forming a support barrier behind him are going to make the corrupt cretins think twice about destroying Mkhwanazi as should that happen, then his supporters hit the streets en masse making the country ungovernable.

I thought everyone with common sense was behind him and his efforts. You can't rant day in day out here about corruption then tell people who expose it to join politics. Politics is saturated as it is, the fight needs to come from all corners, not just politicians.

I am all for supporting General but MK is headed by a criminal Zuma so F-OFF to Zuma.

If General puts out a statement that he will not accept support from criminal Zuma or his party, I will donate one month's salary to his cause.

Doing that press conference was precisely to preserve his safety, he did enough. There doesn't need to be a march in his name. Should something happen to him, I would then understand everyone taking to the streets. But there's no need to march for him, or anyone else for that matter.

If it was a march against corruption in the justice system, that would also be understandable because it would be principle-based and not personality-based.

The other thing to look at is who is doing the marching. The fact that it's sanctioned by uBaba should immediately raise red flags, he's hardly the best example against corruption...

The irony of MK trying to style themselves as leaders of morality and righteousness while harbouring all the thieves as MPs.

They stand for everything that Mkhwanazi stands against.

Isn't Mkhwanazi standing against the corrupt ANC?

Although, I guess for once you're right. The ANC and MK are definitely not mutually exclusive in their corrupt ways.

Actually he should not even entertain it, even discouraging it would be a problem. He is doing well so far staying out of the public eye and minding his police business.

I would say he is standing against criminality no matter where it comes from, but on any good day around here, Mkhwanazi would be an ANC cadre and standing for his faction.

But it's lovely how we are able to make a distinction now and again.
 
I am being naive but let us say General has evidence that he claims. Is it unlawful for him to open a case and give all evidence? Why the need for all this drama ?
