Not really feasible in a proportional representation system like that in SA. If you want to understand how stable democracies work under PR, look at most of Europe (except the UK which uses first-past-the-post). SA will inevitably become closer to the electoral results of stable European nations, which means coalition politics. The ANC obtaining large majorities in a PR system is an exception rather than a rule.

Let the rabble run it long enough you will eventually get 50%+1
Coallitions only work when the SOI is actually followed.
ANC broke various statement's of intent from when they were inked. Seems like ALL ANC politicians are dishonest
 
This Mkhwanazi thing is quite explosive. His position is unfortunately untenable now but I would hope Cyril doesnt bury this in a commission for white washing. He must act instead of his usual spineless committee deferment.

I have trouble believing he doesn't know how rotten the police are. You can't cripple the police so much to protect tenders of a murderer who kills people to protect himself from prosecution.

No. You have to grab the opportunity when it is there.

DA is doing good in the portfolio's they manage. John is almost good enough to be a competent minister of Agri. The home affairs guy and correctional services are doing great.

Gayton is doing good at sports for PA.

Yeah, Schreiber for me is heads and shoulders above all the DA ministers. He already has quite a few actual achievements to his name - not an easy thing to do with the bureaucracy, who love to be set in their ways and completely resistant to change.

While they might be doing well in their individual positions, the same cannot be said of the coalitions which is what I was referring to

At some point someone realised this Cat Matlala was too much of a liability and dumped thing, the R360 million tender was cancelled before he went to jail, hence Mkhwanazi mentioned he has evidence of him threatening the Browm Mogotsi guy.

The panic was already there long before Mkhwanazi spilled the beans.
