Guys, massive news, Ramapoes had no idea the entire police ministry & justice cluster is captured by criminal syndicates and that his own Minister of Police is allegedly centrally implicated. Thankfully he may take a few minutes away from the important work of studying the personal travel arrangements of DA ministers to look into this. The Great Libation Movement delivers again

That's not really the problem. Someone needs to investigate it...

The problem is the committee will investigate for 4 years, issue a report and nothing will be done.

How to save the taxpayers from an unnecessary 'Notional Monologue' fruitless & wasteful expenditure, as well as 'lose friends & incarcerate people' (apologies to Dale Carnegie)... 🇿🇦 🤡:p

South Africa rejects Cyril Ramaphosa's R700M "National Dialogue" & welcomes whatever corruption General Mkhwanazi exposes for free.

That's actually ANC strategy. Two cases come to mind: SAA and the Zondo commission. Initial public outrage was "managed" with "inquiries" and "restructuring, which were actually disguised processes to ride out the wave of outrage, after which the public just went along with it except for the odd grumble.

There are many, many more examples like the two above. This will play out successfully again, the strategy is highly effective.

The ANC is irredeemable and corrupt beyond measure.

More SAPS revelations from News24 via Martin Nel on X...

New twist in explosive police scandal: Investigations confirm Bheki Cele stayed at Cat Matlala’s luxury penthouse hideout!

KZN top cop Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has blown the lid off a tangled web linking tenderpreneur Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala to ANC Police Minister Senzo Mchunu — and implicating former minister Bheki Cele, who enjoyed free reign of Matlala’s luxury Menlyn Maine penthouse while Matlala was under investigation.

Matlala, accused of a R2.3 billion Tembisa Hospital fraud, an attempted hit on his ex, and a shady R360 million SAPS health services tender, gave Cele access to his opulent Pretoria penthouse in January. Cele admitted using it twice but denies business ties — despite WhatsApp evidence instructing hotel staff to “grant access” to his “friend and business partner.”

Matlala secured his massive SAPS tender a week after Cele stepped down as minister. His company bagged R50 million before the deal was finally scrapped.

Meanwhile, Mkhwanazi’s evidence — WhatsApp messages, money trails, and orders from Mchunu’s office to dissolve the Political Killings Task Team — shows a chilling pattern: political interference to shield Matlala and dismantle probes into his crimes.

R111,000 was later paid from Matlala’s tender proceeds to a company linked to fixer Brown Mogotsi, who claimed direct access to Mchunu and helped sabotage investigations.

President Ramaphosa calls it a “grave national security matter” but urges “restraint” — as if public trust isn’t already destroyed.

How much longer must South Africans endure the ANC’s corrupt cadres protecting each other while ordinary citizens pay the price?

Cyril Ramaphosa must act now.

Everyone involved is already a government salaried employee. There should not be any additional cost.

It should be a 2 hour teams meeting to tell the ANC stop being corrupt. Cyril can act shocked for 40 min. Nothing will come of it.

You would think so,

I don't know, but since they are still at school I doubt it will be NQF rated.

Thank you. However, it should not be incorrectly referred to as an apprenticeship. An apprenticeship consists of 3 - 4 years of theoretical study interspersed with periods of structured practical experience. After this period, passing a trade test results in the award of an artisan's red seal certificate and registration as an artisan.

I posted another reply that you probably missed, it seems these are learners who have already matriculated and are on a formal Merseta accredited apprenticeship.

Looks like it's Merseta accredited and it's for learners who have already done matric, so more formal than I thought it would be.

Thank you for the update. I see that Maths and science are also requirements. I hope that this becomes more widespread and the government can provide tax incentives to companies prepared to train apprentices. Doing so will result in far more people being trained.

Something else that needs changing then
I agree, parliament is supposed to be parliament, they can have their caucuses but any communication that is directed to the public or public should be clear as far as the capacity it is sent in, if you want to represent your party, do it on your parties letterhead.
