I like how 16 years after losing WC to DA, it still clearly haunts them... The one province they couldn't win over since 1994.

PA will help finish them off where DA can't next year.

Especially since its where they all want to live in their posh houses.

Yeah, I'll use my muni as an example. Where DA didn't moer ANC, PA did.

Going by last year's results if it were LGE, the council would've pretty much been split evenly between DA and PA.

Nonsense...zimbabwe is a powerhouse...
My gardener told me so..

Lol, doing my research for the ward by-elections this week. This will be the third by-election in the same ward in the Sol Plaatjie municipality since 2021. Reason for this by-election? The lazy PA councillor didn't attend 3 council meetings. Not unexpected given the calibre of individual attracted to the PA.

LMAO. As expected. What are the ward stats like after the previous by-election? I just want to know the scores.

Unfortunately I expect PA to hold as they won at the last by-election, however, there is a particular wrinkle with the previous results: PA basically bribed the DA candidate to drop out and it was too late to change nominations. Hence a star next to the DA result provided by Sussman.

Northern Cape
Ward 1 (Roodepan Platfontein) in Sol Plaatje, Frances Baard: PA 53% (25%) ANC 35% (32%) DA* 7% (25%) EFF 2% (1%) BOSA 1% Ind-Martins 1% ACDP 1% (2%)

First WC, now KZN, and then Gauteng.
