You won't like this:
  • ActionSA MP Kgosi Letlape, who stated “friend” under the source, and “Loan – Cash” under the description.
  • ANC MP Cameron Dugmore, who stated “family and friends” as the source and “interest free loans” as the description.
  • ANC MP Joy Maimela who stated “Personal” as the source and “Loan (cash)” as the description.
  • ANC MP and Deputy International Relations Minister Thandi Moraka, who made two entries listing “friend” as the source and “money” as the description.
  • ANC MP Pumelele Ndamase was one of the few who provided a name, listing “N Mosana” as the source and “Monatary (sic)” as the description.
  • ANC MP and chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development Xola Nqola declared as source “Loan from a friend” with “R30 0000 (sic)” as the description.
  • MKP MP Thulani Gamede made two entries listing “friend” as source and “cash-interest free” as the description, another listing “friends” as source and “interest free loan” and another two entries with “friend” as source and “interest free loan” as description.
  • MKP MP Mandlenkosi Matutu listed “Mrs Ntabeni ZE Mfusi” and source and “Interest free loans” as description.
  • MKP MP Lucky Montana, under source listed “Midtownbrace (PTY) LTD” and “Investment into a Joint Venture Agreement for Property Development” and in another entry listed Thabo Owen Mokoena as source and “Business Loan” as the description.
  • MKP MP Gift Motaung listed “private individual” as source and “loan” as description.
  • MKP MP Des van Rooyen, a fleeting finance minister when state capture was at its height, listed “Friends” as source and “loan” as description.

Considering MP's are in the top 1% of earners in this country I find it very curious that so many of them are reliant on zero interest free cash loans from "friends". Bar the single asa member it looks like anc members are in need of financial help

Just bribe with an extra step

A bar and a half a year with free housing chow and cars doesn't go that far when you're a retard and have to have all the posh western stuff you know.

Yet they cannot manage their own finances , but we are trusting billions to them of the countries finances
Gov should treat all positions the same way corporate does. Criminal and Financial check before any position is started

Maybe you are getting too carried away, taking a loan does not mean you can't manage your finances, people take loans to buy houses, cars etc. A loan from a family or friend is still the same, there is no law that says all loans must come from a bank.

You have neglected to read "interest free , cash" loan. How many can produce a loan agreement made when it was done ?
This actually comes down to SARS as well. Did they declare these donations ? and pay the 20% tax ?
Interest free loans are not loans

There is a trackable loan from that follows the legal prescripts to avoid over indebtedness and then loans from friends and family that don't.

You go to friends and family if either you're being bribed or a bank has told you to fsck off.

I do understand if going to your family is a source of shame and something you do when you are out of options, that applies to you, we live different lives. I have borrowed money from family plenty of times, and also lent them money, for the very reason that there is no reason to pay interest on a bank loan, unless the amount I require is more than they can afford.

We even have a family stokvel that we contribute to and take interest free loans from.

You are somehow under the impression that it can only be a loan if there's a loan agreement?

I must continue to pretend that I walked 6 hours in snow everyday when I could have just borrowed my father's snowmobile.

Again these are people earning in the top 1% of teh country...... Asking for interest free cash "loans" from family ?
I think not

Hmm yes . Even if it is just verbal. How can there not be a loan if I havent actually said " I will/agree to loan you the money ".
Will you just take it from me without agreement and I must accept it is a loan ? I call that theft

Most ANC MPs are economically and financially illiterate. They have little idea about anything and are earning fat salaries far beyond what they should be earning. It's very likely they just spend willy nilly to impress their friends.

So here is the deal, can you get out of my way as far as this thread, or any other political thread is concerned? As there is nothing else to discuss in politics threads besides politics, otherwise it becomes off topic.

I don't make deals regarding the truth. Something is either true or false. The truth is never off topic.

Should you or anyone else state anything which is not or has warped the historical truth, I will point it out. May I politely suggest you do some fact checking before being convenient with the truth?
