Surprise surprise, not a thing on News24 about this. Renaldo was immediately the main headline...

As far as I am concerned asa is an illegal party. Someone should object and get them deregistered

I.e. Herman and Beaumont are running a stokvel where they make the decisions, and have no intention of holding an elective conference...
She is the one who had to sacrifice her nice job as s speaker of Joburg, so there is that matter of conveniently seeing all the wrong things when you feel you got a raw deal.

Well yeah, that's politics. Everything is good until you get fcked, that's when you suddenly find your principles...

Not surprising. I'm not coloured myself but being in the WC, have interacted with many coloureds and some of their views about black people are not too positive. Of course, some on the political left only believe that white people can be anti-black but that is quite a naive view. I'm not surprised that Gayton as a coloured nationalist would have such views.
Can agree, although they do not constitute a majority (like racists don't constitute a majority in all race groups).

But the way I see it, their feeling can be summed up in a phrase they use often: "Too Black during Apartheid, too White under the ANC".

Something I do find side-splitting is that the same people raging now about Gayton's past comments are the same ones who wanted to conjure up reasonable explanations for the podcasters...

Way to keep the double standard alive, guys...
