You will need to ask Hermann, he is one of the guys who is into polling and stuff. But I guess the point he is making is that the DA is losing coloured voters to the PA and that is not just a conclusion made from this single ward.

Do a DA/PA head to head of the by election results of all majority coloured wards and I bet you will see a trend that has got Hermann all hot and bothered.

You love deflecting but this a ward that ANC has always won. Also as I've told you a million times before, but you completely ignore it, not all wards are created equal. That Kou Kamma ward has roughly 1500 voters - in total. My urban CT ward usually gives 10 000 votes to the DA alone. That's the fundamental problem for the PA in our PR system - they win wards where hardly anyone lives but are very weak where the bulk of population resides (cities). And let's be clear, the DA is losing rural coloured voters, not urban ones.

Like I said earlier, he likes to focus on specific facts. The rest, he ignores. That's his thing.

Fact remains the PA is taking the coloured votes from the DA, you have even admitted so yourself, the DA can hardly afford to lose coloured votes, even in ANC wards.

It's hilarious, the ANC gets an absolute hammering at the polls, everything is pointing to a complete collapse of the party. But @TheChamp is trying to convince us that it's actually the DA that's collapsed šŸ¤£ . This gentleman will jump off a bridge if it helps him shift the narrative

The DA won the most votes in all WC municipalities last year (although I concede that it was provincial and national votes which tend to benefit the bigger parties). I accept at municipal level the PA will probably be ahead of the DA in some municipalities next year in the WC but again, you need to look under the hood and see how many people actually live there. The DA are not losing the "coloured vote" - it's a bit more nuanced than that. The PA don't have a single ward in CT despite there being many urban CT "coloured" wards.
