Parcel took three days from LAX to JHB, it "arrived" in customs mid October... still no sign of it. 8x parcels mising in the space of the past 4 months and counting...

Sometimes customs won't release without an invoice (proof of purchase), but don't let you know that they are waiting for one.

Best to call them.

I just got a first notification today for a parcel that arrived at Benmore post office on 9 December... wtf.

To contrast, I bought a roku from amazon on 13th Jan. It arrived at my desk today.

Just received item from China that shipped on 9 January 2016. Had a tracking number though so maybe that helped.

Other shipments with no tracking number not so lucky yet.

4 December 2015 - Not received yet.
13 December 2015 - Not received yet.

Seems to come through in batches, yesterday I got a bunch of stuff ordered between 26 October and 15 December.

Eventually another two items arrived yesterday that shipped via China Post (no tracking numbers) on 4 and 13 December.

100% success rate still (touch wood).

The gravy train has run dry and the wheels have all but come off.


Govt cant let the post office collapse and they will be forced into a corner and provide capital injection.

Still waiting for some of those from months and years ago.

But I see that some people get eToll reminders and vehicle licence reminders, and I get none of that, so maybe deliveries to my area have just totally collapsed.

Looking at the trend, all those MIA's still have time to arrive. The longest you have waited is 2 months. So the 10 Jan still has till 10 March.
