I sent an email to them this morning requesting a local tracking number for a package sent by Deutsche Post which was received in SA on 18/12/2016 according to the DP tracking number. The lady who responded gives me the same info that the DP website gives ie received on 18/12 but apparently it still needs to be scanned into the Post Office's system to get a local tracking number.
So it will lay in limbo until someone decides to scan it.![]()
No the international tracking number gets scanned in.Do the post office issue an SA tracking number once it lands? How does one get informed when it reaches the destination?
You referring to the SAPO app? My international tracking number does not work there.Start using the App guys.
Works wonders. You add the tracking number beforehand and it sends a notification when it populates.
