The latest MyBroadband survey reveals the percentage of tech-savvy South African broadband subscribers who use BitTorrent or Usenet to download movies, TV series, or music.

I am trying my hardest not to pirate, but the sorry state of my 4Mb (lol!) ADSL line really makes it hard.

I am subscribed to multiple streaming services, but the instability of my line just makes it an irritation sometimes. Constant buffering, poor quality. Makes me sad, because I really, really, really don't want to pirate.

Until our internet is better, I can't see how piracy isn't a better option than anything out there at the moment?

I - for one - do not use any torrent or usenet software.
I prefer Netflix and Hulu instead.
Local content is crap.
