SA vs All Blacks - 23rd June

im pretty sure all blacks are odds on favourites for every game and to win the tri nations

if anything put your money on south africa because the odds should be great

is habana going to be playing?

Dont think so, and our man spies is also out, that is a big blow, cause you have to intimidate the AB with strength in every area. After the first half, they should be to afraid to handle the ball

AB's look more like a sure thing, especially with our impotent reduced lineup <down> so why waste bucks on the boks, for a fairly limited chance of a decent win?
just my 2 cents.

Even with the "injuries" I don't think much has changed. Our biggest setback imho is Smit. He is like a pillar of strength that supported the team. Just the loss of him makes me scared.

Skinstad in at no. 8. This would have been my choice from the get go. I see no loss here. Rosouw in at flank, this again is not a bad thing. He is big and strong and can move. I would have had Juan as my first choice but I don't think this weakens us.

Os in prop.... Now here is a worry! He is unfortunately past his sell by date and should rather be used for his wealth of knowledge than his playing ability. He will be off as a "tactical sub" in the first half because he won't keep up. Which will leave us with 2 tight heads on for the remainder of the match. If one of them gets injured we are in beeg trouble as Os will have to come back on and we will be playing with 14 people.

JP on for Habana. Not the best but don't count him out. He has pulled many rabbits out of hats this season. He has also been very crap at times too :s

Ruan for Fourie. Ruan at home with the crowd behind him. S14 final he showed exactly why he is there. There was nothing between him and Fourie. In fact it was Adams that came on and was very involved in the try that won them the match.

So don't write us off. It was always going to be tough and very tight. We have 56k banana boys backing them and that is gonna lift them too. I stand on my 21-15 to bokke. BOKKE FTW!

james i love your attitude a ture south african supporter :)

your not a realist though :)

im hoping we pull through but in my head i highly doubt it

less than 24 hours to go

I'm glad last weeks game was so tight... already getting nervous just thinking about tomorrow! We will win, as Jake said last week, the Bokke were born to play against the All Blacks. I'm hoping the new guys in the team have gotten rid of the jitters they had last week, and put in a dominating performance. please please please :P

Well either way I have a great deal of beer to drink after the game :D

Was a close one, pity steyn had to come on, I think we would have won if butch had stayed.

To many changes during the last few minutes fucsed up a good performing team.

First of all...

A rugby match is 80 mins and not 65! :(

Gee New Zealand die pinkie het hul vat die hand!

In a test match between the best team in the world. 30 odd miss tackels is just pathetic!

For that 2nd last try that came, that gave NZ a sniff of victory, the ball was kicked down field and it took 5 Springboks and 50m to bring that NZ wing to earth. 2mins later McGaw goes over.

Last try by NZ, to give them the lead was of not follow up by the support player. Pienaar kicked but was tackled, all behind him could have followed up.

Steyn had a poor day at flyhalf. En om 'n vasskop op loskop te gaan indruk gaan ook my verstand te bowe. We knew Os would be replace instead of BJ, why choose CJ then?

Don't be mistaken they have the potencial but couldness me, it's 80mins not 65mins!

Don't know about Butch but he had a hamstring problem 2 mins before leaving. IMHO World Cup is more important than Tri Nations this year. Don't worsen the injury.

That is if he was injured.

Else I would be p i ssed!
