Saddam Hussein's execution filmed

i saw the video on saudi tv just now - but they dont show the entire thing - just till they put the noose around his neck.

Killing anyone for whatever reason is primitive.

The Iraq ordeal has cost the Yanks a fortune.
All their own doing of course.
Will the War Debt carry over into the markets? A Bull Run for 3 years on the Stock Markets. Can it continue or will we see a major correction.

One message that stands out in my eyes.
You mess with the Yanks and they will come sort you out.
Agreed

If Saddam can be hung for "crimes against humanity"...
what about Mugabe?

It's all BS

Come on...

We all know Africa operates on a different set of standards when it comes to leaders.

Yeah, let's not forget Jean-Bertrand Aristide who's living a life of luxury in South Africa.
Haitian authorities did accuse him of crimes against humanity, but the fact that he's black is going to spare him from ever seeing a jail cell.

It was on BBC World too, I'm sure the full video will be released on the net at some stage though.

Um, when did saddam mess with the yanks? And... what have the yanks sorted out?!

GB is as guilty of crimes against humanity as saddam ever was oh, but nobodies knocking on his door.

@kilo39

1. When he started giving $10000 to the families of suicide bombers. They were attacking Israel, an ally of the US, but the deal was for any suicide bombs against the West.

2. When he gave shelter to top members of Al Quaida after the embassy bombings.

3. He was 1 year away from completing a functional nuclear device. He had chemical and, most say likely, biological weapons.

4. He allowed Al Quaida to set up training camps in Iraq.

5. He had one of the most powerful armies in the region and used them against a US protected country.

6. He had one of the most powerful armies in the region and his defeat sends a message to the enemy that America is not a "paper tiger".

Peace.

Source?... unbiased would be preferable

@ BandwidthAddict: which propaganda site have you been reading?

1. When he started giving $10000 to the families of suicide bombers. They were attacking Israel, an ally of the US, but the deal was for any suicide bombs against the West.

Notably after the fact (of the bombing.) Oh but then atrocities are always good as long as it is yours against 'them'.

2. When he gave shelter to top members of Al Quaida after the embassy bombings.

Was this before or after bumsfields last visit? Please.

3. He was 1 year away from completing a functional nuclear device. He had chemical and, most say likely, biological weapons.

Ja right. Pity nothing was ever found (except some old long defunct plans - and not nearly as up to date as the last ones published by GB on the internet)

4. He allowed Al Quaida to set up training camps in Iraq.

shakes head

5. He had one of the most powerful armies in the region and used them against a US protected country.

... and again.

6. He had one of the most powerful armies in the region and his defeat sends a message to the enemy that America is not a "paper tiger".

Keep on believing. I'm sure every single one of the 3000+ mourning american families feel the same.

What does it matter that it happened after the fact? He was still supporting terrorists.

Apprently they filmed the whole execution, it just wasn't all shown or released.

Well whether they filmed it all, is irrelevant. What they DID release to CNN/BBC was shown and it's only the part where they talk to him and then put the rope
around his neck. That's all. I think it's also against Islam to show the moment of death too, I don't think they'll leak that out. Rotten.com will have to make do with fakes and videos of accident victims and dead children, whatnot.

Yeah was trying to find a link to that, just remember seeing it in one of the earlier reports this morning.

If CNN/BBC did not have access to a video of the guy dying then I don't know who has. They have shown picures of his body. I don't see the allure of seeing someone die anyway.

Bandwidthaddict: You're talking first class White House trash. Saddam did not support Al Quaida - ever. That was a whitehouse fabrication to go after Saddam since they couldn't get Osama.

Having access to it and showing it are 2 very different matters e.g. they have access to execution videos but don't show them etc. Wouldn't want to see it anyway, just saying.

I think they would have gone after Saddam even if they had gotten Osama. Still inaccurate propaganda anyway.
