No, it is awesome...I have had **** internet for the last 2 years
I am moving to an estate that has SADV
Will these years to come entail the same as my previous 2?

Great. I haven't replied on this thread because frankly, SADV have been quiet about what the plan is for the going live date. Seems like the link to the node is still outstanding, as well as a few more houses to get drop fibre. They haven't responded to any messages since December.I am embarking on being the next @gmathews - Trying to bring about the change I wish to see in my complex.
Already in contact with managing agent and HOA, have some meetings setup and will try to get the ball rolling.
Judging by your timelines we should see implementation completed around August this year...
To be honest, I have attempted to contact him on phone and here, to no avail. Dropped a msg to trustee managing the fibre at our complex and he's heard nothing about the go live date. We're all just pretty much in the dark.@pinball wizard should be able to provide an update

Fair enough, but the last message here addressed to him was in November already, and I've msged him privately as well. I've seen it before with SADV, they're quick to pull the trigger/reply quickly to get new sign ups, but quiet with information once everything is in place. With the December break and all that I don't think we can blame them.
Let's see if they get back to you during the course of this week, I did speak to Pinball earlier today about another matter.

That's actually a bit disappointing. Lack of feedback would drive me up the wall as well.
As a prospective SADV client we are watching this space very closely.
HiHi, the delay in this is Rustenburg council issuing wayleaves. This was communicated to the relevant body corporate members as I understand it.
Great news, keep us posted on progress. Hopefully everyone will be on board, was a bit tricky for us initially.Met pinball wizard yesterday at my complex. Getting the ball rolling on my end with the HOA and all the rest.
So let's say 15 January was the first meeting, now we need to get approval from HOA trustees and then get the SADV planning and architecture sorted.
