That's the redundant East Coast link. What about the main West Coast link?

I can confirm, back to normal latency and speed.

Any details as to what the problem was? Was it really just the Durban to Amsterdam link?

Hi VontD,

They still have the cause listed as "unknown"

Was back to normal speeds and latency when I went online after work yesterday.
Was on until around 01:00 and had no problems

Miy intl sperds are very slow again. Intl ping 659.
Slow access to router and I mean dlow as in almost no movement.
Anyone else?

I can't get onto anything international. If I switch over to Openweb everything is fine. Same thing yesterday. May as well cancel my Telkom account and move over to Openweb.

It seems that lots of people are moving to Open Web and I'm not referring to the Telkomsa guys. Good feedback for Open Web so far.

I'm having some issues with Youtube today, not going very well for videos that haven't been cached before. Strange how we're still having issues after a few server restarts - this is making me consider a different ISP for data in the future, if only for better redundancy rather than better network performance.

all international traffic on Telkom(SAIX) seems to be down again now...
