It can swivel left and right up to 20°, and tilt up and down between 0° and -15°.Compatibility: The WMN-5090AN is compatible with 42" to 50" Samsung plasma TVs and 40" to 52" Samsung LCD TVs with the EX-Link connection (3.5mm minijack) on the rear panel.Installation: The wall plate is attached to the wall with ten 2" (50mm) screws (a total of 12 screws and wall anchors are supplied). The screws and anchors provided are for both wood and concrete surfaces. For marble and steel walls, appropriate specialized fasteners should be used. For plasterboard (drywall), you should locate the wood studs using a commercially-available stud finder, and attach the wall mount to the studs. The wall plate has a series of mounting holes spaced 8-3/16" apart vertically and a maximum of 26" apart horizontally. It is extremely important that the strength of the wall is checked before installation, and reinforced if necessary.Installing the TV: The two supplied hangers are for use with all but the 40" Samsung LCDs. These hangers are bolted to the back of the TV in the VESA 600x400 pattern, using the supplied M8 bolts. The TV is then hung on the wall mount's horizontal bars. The bar's end caps prevent the TV from sliding from side to side. The 40" Samsung LCD TVs have a VESA 200 (200mm x 200mm) bolt pattern. In order to mount these TVs, the wall mount's horizontal bars are removed, and the TV is directly bolted to the wall mount's VESA 200 mounting holes, using the supplied M6 bolts.Connections: There are two connections required during installation of the wall mount. The unit has a standard round 12V DC power input for use with the supplied AC adapter. The AC adapter comes with a plastic housing that allows you to mount the transformer on the wall mount bracket. In addition, the supplied communications cable (40" stereo miniplug cable) plugs into the "EX-Line" jack on the wall mount and the "EX-Link" jack on the TV. This connection feeds the remote control signals from the TV to the wall mount when adjustments are made. Note: You will need to make the connections to the TV in the order specified in the installation manual.Adjustment Features: The WMN-5090AN has several unique features:Silent Operation: The unit is equipped with a cutting-edge motor with no brush, designed to minimize noise. Auto Centering: With a press of a button, you can move the TV until it is as close to the wall as possible, even with the TV off. 3-Position Memory: The wall mount can memorize up to 3 specific positions, allowing you to move your TV to a memorized position with the press of a button.
