Try this, put your phone on GSM only. See what the drain is like.

EDIT: Wait, you have very low screen on time and a high Held Awake time. Something is keeping your phone from going into deep sleep when you are not using it.

I have attached my battery stats as a comparison. My Gmail was stuck open all night which would have drained the battery quite a bit.

I'm seriously considering getting one of these phones, anyone here that came from a S3 to a Note 2? I would liked to know if it's worth the upgrade and if the Note 2 has any features you cannot live without.

I went S2 to Note 1 to S3 to Note 2.
For me, Note 2 is the King pin. S3 very close behind though.

EDIT: Can't live without the big screen :D

Thanks Mike, one of the reasons I like it is also the big screen but I also love the s-pen (I remember how much I loved the stylus on my old HTC Touch Diamond) and all it's functionality. I will hopefully be getting one this weekend if the local Vodacom has stock.

Is there any possibility of getting the Note II on a RBM contract? (By paying in extra perhaps?)
 
I should be getting mine today. Depends on the courier. I can barely contain my excitement.
 
Playing with my new note 2 and actually liking TouchWiz so far.

I'm going to use this for a while and compare with stock on my galaxy nexus.

I have noticed the snappiness afforded by the extra CPU power in the note 2.

I don't think LTE coverage will be any better in next 6months to a year. Rather use that 50 rand and add a more data to your deal.
 
I think 3rd party development for the non LTE version might be better and more common
 
The whole LTE thing doesn't appeal to me that much, yet. HSDPA is so fast already, and with high mobile data costs, it's kinda impractical to really use LTE to its full worth. The latency should be the same for both, won't they? With normal browsing I don't think there will be a noticeable difference. Maybe when you view a lot of youtube videos and do downloads, but then again, the cost is going to be crippling for the average joe.
 
I just spoke with a Samsung representative and he said that the LTE note 2 has been in the country for around 2 weeks. I've decided to keep my 3G version and only get LTE once the products are stabilised.
