How is the Note 3 on lollipop? Worth the upgrade from kit kat?

Much much better. But I can't say for stock, I'm using AudaxL with TW.

Nope. At least not for me. I am on Note 5 port lollipop 5.1.1.

Can say that even on stock note 3 lollipop it was better kitkat.

I see RC2.1 came out today. Giving it a run atm. Any work around for granting permissions for each app individually in TiB Restore?

This rom is fantastic. Much better than the version I tried. The dark material theme is the kicker. Looks almost like my AOSP set up. Not sure about the battery life yet tho.

I mistakely deleted the email sync. Now my type mail isn't pushing notifications. Any ideas on a remedy. Couldn't find the apks in the Rom zip

Ok I've tested it for a few days now. I have a few issues. Apart from the following, this Rom is really awesome.

1 - Tasker is not executing it's tasks. It shows as active but they are not working.
2 - LuxAuto Brightness is also not working. Small problem but worth mentioning.
3 - On CyanogenMod I always turn autosync off but still get push notifications. Here autosync has to be on for them to work. Do you also have it set to on? Hows your data usage?

I also get the flickering video sometimes even with latest bootloader and modem. Contemplating swithing back to CM. If I could just get Tasker to work I'd be a lot happier. I've tried clearing cache. Reinstalling. Nothing. I know I should be asking this in the XDA forum, but as always in a popular Rom forum it's full of douches and no help.

Auto sync is on for me... I only sync basic stuff like contacts though. No issue with data

Dont use tasker so cant comment on it.
Auto brightness kills battery, dont use it.
Sync is always on and dont have high data uses. On average burn through 2gb a month, but I am a heavy user. Mostly on road, when home I am on wifi.

I gave up on the rom and went back to CM12.1 for a while. Then only did I realize how much battery life you lose on CM. So I flashed a clean install of DarkLord Note5 RC 2.1 and then DarkLord 1.5 kernel. Wow! What a difference. Only thing I'm not happy about is Tasker not working. Everything else is fine. If I can get through a full battery cycle I will post screens of my testing.

I also tried ShinTo kernel. Don't waste your time. Deep sleep is brilliant, but while using the phone battery just drops.

What aspects of it do you need?

Am running Temasek CM port and the pen works well if i need to write / sign or draw. The S-Pen specific functions that come with TW wont work though

Edit - Had to get 2 apps to enable this - CM SPen Add-on and Note Buddy

I like the more standard TW functions.

For CM12.1 you can use Note buddy or S-Pen Command (Paid) which are both good work arounds.

But if you want basically full functionality I would advise using DarkLords TW rom.

Trying out DarkAU V3. Very similar to DarkLord but with a few added tweaks which I love. Flashed English Advanced settings, Stage Fright Fix and S6 Camera. Will report back on how things go...
