Ok, so if I download a HD video in the Hub, is it 720p....? Reason being is that I'd download it and put it on a flash drive and watch it on me TV.... Is that even possible...?

some are sd only and some will 720p and 1080p options
can only watch on your device or linked devices
but I use an mhl cable to connect my phone to my tv and it works 100%

Let me guess and say you have Vodacom Note 3?

I also tested this service and got the error message

Mine is the LTE version bought through Vodacom, but with a Cell C prepaid SIM inside

Anyone know of a workaround ?

Use unbranded software from Samsung.

Thanks...I'm not keen to root my phone, knowing my luck I will stuff my phone up. Not a big deal, I will just have to go without the movies hub

You can use Samsung firmware without rooting to remove branding.

Have my note 3 LTE for about 3 weeks now. Does anyone have issues with reception ? My S2 had better reception with this phone. If I get 2 bars it's a lot. If I get 3g I am lucky ? This does not make sense at all. Googled the issue and lots of people overseas has the same issue, which was fixed with a firware update. Unfortunately we have to wait for our ISP to push out the update. FFS and this is suppose to be the flagship phone! :(

I've got mine for about a month now and ever so often it loses reception completely (only emergency calls). If i restart the phone or put into flight mode and then back again, reception is restored. The area I live in does have poor reception at times (Vodacom) but my other phones also on Vodacom rarely lose reception completely

Where in CT are you having issues? Is your sim card provisioned for LTE? I had issues with mine when it was on the Network mode [LTE/WCDMA/GSM (autoconnect)] but its been resolved since my sim got provisioned for LTE. Maybe its the placebo effect.

Pinelands and Wynberg mainly

Still trying to pick up someone's galaxy gear watch they aren't using :)

Are you still interested in a Galaxy Gear device? I haven't read through the entire thread, yet, so I'm unsure whether you've gotten one yet, or not.

I'm going to upgrade and get the Galaxy Note 3 this Sunday, the 1st December, and I might be able to help you.

If the Vodacom internet APN settings still have a proxy server in it, delete it and save the APN.

Then see if you can access the video hub & give some feedback.
