I am also in the process of transferring my whatsapp messages as well. I downloaded an app which does this but havent tested it as yet. Users claim that it works.

I can only confirm if it works once I get a chance to test it out myself.

With regards to Whatsapp, I used a piece of software called Whatsapp Migrator which involves quite a bit of tinkering different files but worked perfectly when I moved from iPhone to Note 3 but not sure it is possible vica-versa as Apple won't allow you access to the files you need - unless I jailbreak and can access the file, hmmm need to look into that.

it be great if there was a way to get my contacts and SMS from android to iPhone. All pics are saved to memory card so can transfer what I need.

Ok, this is the app I was referring to earlier. i.e. Whatsapp migrator. Glad to know that it works for whatsapp.

I will get the name of the other app for you in order to transfer the contacts etc.

It worked like a charm when transferring my contacts, sms's, photos and videos from my iphone5 to my note3

Yeah Samsung have an app that I used on my mac to transfer all the content from my iPhone 5 backup to my Note 3 (contacts, messages, pictures, videos, alarms ect). I just hope there is one that does the opposite too.

Whats the apps name? I also changed from an Iphone to a Note3.

Its called Samsung SmartSwitch and works amazingly. It reads all the data from your last iPhone backup and transfers everything across to your Note 3 (or other Samsung device) - it just doesn't transfer notes.

Unfortunately I don't plan on rooting, but I had my eye on those spigen covers, the other solution of removing the chip in the original s view cover is just far too expensive an option.

I agree, also wanted to get the Spigen SView, but I think I'll just forget about it and keep using my Spigen Slim Armor.
