Samsung Galaxy Note 3

My Note 3 tells me im in Madagascar !! The weather widget gives me weather reports of Madagascar instead of Cape Town.

When I go to Google Maps ... and turn my GPS on it, it shows me I am there... then after a few minutes locates me back to my current location in CT. is there a way to fix this ???
Could this be why my battety is draining faster than usual ?

Mine did the same. I'm using HD Widgets (AccuWeather). When I set it to "Locate Automatically" then it shows I'm at all those different countries.

I've just set it to Auto now again and it pics up where I am now. Maybe it was a problem in Jelly Bean. I'm running KitKat now.

Have you updated to KitKat yet?
 
My Glass screen protector arrived, I dont have much to compare it to other than the Spigen Oleophobic protector and the el cheapo China Mall job but this one is light years ahead of anything I have seen/tried before. The S-Pen is smooth and texture is great.

Honestly, that video is beyond a waste of time. Its so tedious and complicated and at the end (2:24) he screws it up. The only real way to put a screen protector on (having done it about 100 times a day), is to man up and do it :P. No but seriously, a little bit of windowline on the blue cloth you get in the packaging. Put a LITTLE bit of that on the corner of the ONE side of the cloth. Wipe vigorously. Use other side to remove streaks. Essentially you want to remove EVERY little bit of dust. Even a tiny piece of dust = instant bubble. So remove every trace of dust or hair or anything on the screen. Once you've done this. No matter WHAT you do or how big the bubble is that you put on the when applying the screen protector. You are able to push it out with your fingers or credit card. The only thing that leaves bubbles is dust and not the actual application. Even if you have a bubble you cant push out, push it out as much as you can. The phone screen will do the rest. Usually the screen warmth removes 99% of the bubbles you couldnt push out.

Anyway, let me know what that screen protector feels like. Might get myself one.

The application was easy, more time was taken up getting out all the dust that settles even after opting to do it in the bathroom after running the shower to produce steam. Friggin dust.

Pros :
- Price (Spigen Glas is over R500)
- Smooth texture, finger glides over screen
- S-Pen operation is like butter
- No effect on touch screen performance or colour production

Cons :
- They're claiming a 9H hardness rating equal to sapphire which i think is bollocks advertising
- Fingerprints show up due to lack of Oleophobic coating

Ultra thin, extremely lightweight and phenomenally cheap. It doesn't feel cheap or tacky though. Fits perfectly and looks kinda cool. Only R80 each.

I don't think so, I have the Cygnett Black Carbon Fibre Urbanshield cover for my S4 and it feels the same.

I like the leatherish feel of the standard backing, but I also want to protect it and the phone without adding bulk or weight.

I placed the order yesterday (04/03/2014) and received it today (05/03/2014).

They are based in Cape Town, I am in Umhlanga, Durban.

I am still a bit stunned by the efficiency and flawless experience I had with them. Highly recommended.

OMF. I paid Vodashop two hundred and seventy fkn rand for this cable on Sat :eek::eek::(

I wanted another 2 cause I like to have chargers ready and waiting next to the bed, the couch, the office and one with my notebook bag. At the price I only took one.
Thanks for link man. Going to grab another 2 now.

Dude, we are so alike in many ways. :)

I have chargers all over the place within reach should I need them.

I'm also just waiting for my Audi A6, but opted for the 3.0 TDi Quattro Tiptronic Full Spec.

EDIT: I had the micro USB charger next to the couch which suited me fine when in the lounge. Prob was my kids kept stealing it and it drove me nuts. Note 3 cable not compatible with the S3's and S4's. Problem sorted :cool:
