Mine has been doing this as well. Stock ROM and Telkom Mobile. Sometimes I don't receive the message until a few hours later. I have to be in WhatsApp for the messages to come through. Background Data is not disabled
I decided after lots of thinking that it's time to get a new ROM. I'm still running Stock Kitkat.
I root my phone last night. Now to decide which ROM to flash. Which would you say is the best.
Keeping in mind I still need to use S-Pen so CM is out.
Ditto. V17 working 100%Go for x-note. Stock rom with great features added in as well. Been using it for a while now, loving it.

Read our earlier posts on steps and precautions a few pages back and you won't go wrong. Thanks guys. I will download it. We'll ask if I have questions.
From my testing your Google Now language must be set to English (US) to access GNow from lockscreen and other places.I see we can use Google now even from the lock screen just by saying ok Google. Same as the Moto x
get the noteHi guys.
I am currently using a S3. I am looking at either getting the S5 or Note 3. Do anyone have experience with both? Differences seem minimal.
Currently leaning 60% that way. And it is cheaper.get the note
I think if you like the heart rate sensor and water resistant feature go for it other than that the note in my opinion is better. More ram and bigger screen plus memory. Think the camera on the s5 is slightly better but not by much. I don't regret getting the note at all.
For your use, I feel it may just be the better deviceI am asking the same thing in the S5 thread.
The camera on the S5 for me is not a selling point. Don't use it much. My main uses will be calling, social media, internet, youtube videos, managing my meetings at work (not emails - use tablet for that).
Initially excluded the Note, but since it is cheaper (marginally) i thought it is worth a look.
