Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I just got a brand new 2nd hand Note 3 (5.0 stock), and have been setting it up the way I want it. One thing I found to be most irritating is that when using my own mp3 for a ringtone, there is a 1-2s break at the end of the clip before it starts again. I have not had this on any of my previous phones, the cycling of the clip was always immediate.

Anyone have any ideas as I can't find anything that I can change. I have rooted the device, so I can modify system files. I have already had to do some mods to get South African English active as Samsung (or Google) has decided that we don't need to have all languages available (some apps that I use use the language to set the currency).
 
havent flashed phronesis v6 yet, but anyone getting phone failed when getting an incoming call on the latest v5??

V5.1, and I get that. It's very intermittent though, and it hasn't pissed me off enough to go to V6, although I'll probably get around to that this weekend.

it's actualy Phronesis v 6.1 now .!
(been ) updated .Also i see the Phronesis dev , posted that he is taking a "break " from further updating Rom .
v 6.1 is fine and i got not issues so far with it

Ah great stuff
Do I need to do full install to v6 ie backup and format my data?

hi ,
no , i dirty flashed , everytime ! This way you keep all your current settings ,data etc .Just dirty flash over old version .
I flashed Phronesis v 6.1 over v6.0 (as well as before that... v5..... v6 etc ) I am a meduim power user and have had no issues with v 6.1 .
O ,yes update Phronesis v 6.1 is about 1.3 Gig...to download
Unless you had issues/errors with previous version, or just want a clean start ,yes then you can do full backup , wipe ,etc . .

I just have to point out what a HUGE difference it made switching from LTE to 2G, and then finally getting access to Wifi at work. I'm at a corporate client, so they firewall the crap out of EVERYTHING. I recently discovered that they have a separate open connection for employees that has whatsapp and facebook etc. open.

Connected my phone and suddenly battery life is freaking AMAZING. I set leandroid to check data every 15 minutes on 2g and my battery life has gone from dying early in the afternoon to being at 30% the next morning with regular use. Wifi is the shiz-niz.

in other news...
I just flashed my sm-n900 with aurora and the phone wouldnt boot!
realised I was running KK rom and flashed LP, so I needed to update to a LP bootloader as well
