Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (previously Note 6)

A bit worrying because over on Facebook it seems they were not even aware that Vodacom were selling the Note 7's as of yesterday already and they made a statement to the tune of that the Samsung Note 7 has not been released as yet in SA (posted this morning) .

I was considering the Note 7 as my upgrade for my work line , but Im not in the mood for any back and forth with potential issues/recalls , Samsung S7 edge here we come , just to decide between Gold and Silver .

Just got my gold S7 Edge, loving it!

There is no guarantee we will get the v20 as we didnt get the v10... Was mainly usa that recieved that model

The Note 7 will be recalled worldwide. Sales have been suspended, and Samsung is working on preparing replacement units for the affected devices. The process of preparing replacements will take about two weeks, according to the company.

Between Vodacom's crap system never being online or handling such insanely difficult tasks like upgrading and this damn controversy i think i might stick to my Note 4.

You could try asking Samsung, odds are they'll not want to help though. All you can do is try and hope but your biggest problem is the phone hasn't been released yet so the SA unit probably has no idea of recall plans.

Recall is a great opportunity for all the people complaining about scratches to swap out or change to an S7 edge if they are so pissed off.

Or even have a go at your own scratched note and see how easy it does actually scratch.

So now what? Anyone have any updates on Vodacom and when we can start the whole pre-order process again?

I think maybe i should wait till next year and switch from the red company to the yellow one. Vodacom is really starting to irritate me with their system either always offline, or not being up to date or whatever. They also seem to think we are all stupid cave dwellers and continue to offer us 200MB data packages with flagship phones. So will see... Maybe early next year, get Note 7 and Gear S3.
