So where's his post in this thread, backwardsboy?

I dont see what he posts in Broadband and IT has to do with a post in the Samsung Note 7 thread in the Android forum.

But you knew that and just decided it was time to act like an idiot with a moronic post? Why don't you go play with your bargain budget Meizu before it breaks?

What does where it's posted have to do with anything

You have probably now been migrated back to the old system and they have no record of you. Might even have someone phone you in the next few days to tell you about their upcoming Nokia 3310 flagship phone... lol, what am i thinking, no one will phone you back...

Nope, according to the call center, I let the "offer" lapse! But I can still order any phone from the upgrade offers! I'll just wait until the Note 7 is available online again.

I wonder if you could get the 60% update if you stay on that rom.

Popped up on my ROM too... Wow this Note 7 release has been so bad it is even affecting our previous Note's now ;)

November release, seriously? I think this time around i am skipping the upgrade.

My exchanged Note 7 force updated over night to the new 60% firmware. My battery icon is now green and at 100% so I guess my device is Safe.

Seeing as how much damage this caused, i wonder if Samsung should not sue these false claimers, including the Jeep guy who could not wait to get on the front page.

Oh well... guess even if only a few did really happen, still best to recall and be safe...

That article is badly written, they call the jeep fire a false report on the basis the local firemen wouldn't confirm it was the source? That sort of forensic analysis is quite a way above the pay grade of the local firemen who attend a scene. There was definitely a Note sized phone in the epicentre of that fire and would need far more investigation than asking the guys who put the fire out what happened.

I heard telkom stores have the note 7 starting from R699pm. Any confirmations?
