thanks bit of mixed opinions some say bad some say no problems as they all been ironed out ??? so i'm still at square 1 damnit y do all the sp's suck so bad
 
Lol true. If it was Cell C, I wouldn't stress too much. But I'm not really prepared to take a risk with VM.
I'm after the Sensation anyway :-/

Ya same notion here spoke to a cell c rep and they don't have the sensation or the sgs2 and when i mentioned virgin having it he was quiet shocked ???
mtn still trying to offload the sg1 and vodacom new offers coming out in 2 days only but def not going with them so between cellc and mtn so i think i'm going the cellc route
since mtn is still selling 1 year old phone as new and i have a cell c data bundle and all seems to be going well on their side

Haha yeah, I made an inquiry with Cell C a few weeks ago and the guy who called me back was super surprised that other networks had provided feedback.
I also have a Cell C data bundle and I've been very happy with it. Plus I know a lot of people who have Cell C voice contracts and haven't had any issues.
Looking at their website though, they don't even have the Desire HD so I'm not feeling very confident about them getting the Sensation any time soon
 
ya its confusing how the small fry of the lot can get the phones so early and yet the big 4 can't even smell it yet

Probably due to Virgin having being from the US, maybe they made a plan state side :D

Either way I just applied for that R320 deal

SGS 2 on Cell C as well

Like some guys noted, the Virgin website seems to have stock available. However, I'm surprised to see no-one has mentioned that Cell C also has it (well, at least it's in their July brochure) which I picked up at one of their stores yesterday. The SGS 1 is on the front cover on CasualChat 100 @ R145pm. However, hidden away in the middle of the mag is the new SGS 2 sitting quietly and almost un-noticed! Going for R280 pm on ActiveChat 100. The Virgin deal is only R40 more, but you can use all the airtime value for data or SMS, and not just voice (can't remember when I last called someone on my phone, although I receive a lot of calls). So yeah, anyone who gets it on Virgin, PLEASE let everyone know of your experiences with the operator (and the phone). I am actually thinking of getting the SGS 1 at R145pm and connecting it to my wireless network for any downloading of apps, browsing, etc. Reason for going with the SGS1 is I WANT a SuperAMOLED screen, but the SGS 2 just wouldn't be used to its full potential by me. Oh, and I'm a cheapskate as well.

geez thanks for that so far the cellc guys said stock only arriving 2morrow or thursday for the latest
thanks for the heads up guys going with CELL C as my phone dies after a day so i need a new phone like pronto
 
that is the worst contract i've ever seen in my life what were they thinking coming up with a crappy deal like that
thanks for the heads up thou i've called around but apparantly the northern suburbs shops have the phone in the store but no where else some are still talking about 2 weeks to go and crap like that.

but no data and u have to pay for your calls
where as cell c gives u 100 min and u can get 10mb for R1 TOPUP so its a better deal i think ?
