Just spoke to the Samsung guys as Vodaworld. Apparently only being launched in mid-September.

I think Vodacom knows that they'll sit with all the Samsung Wave stock when the Galaxy S is available, so trying to clear the Wave stock??

I might be totally wrong (or wishful thinking...) but I was listening to 94.7 and when they advertise the "sound of joburg" instead of wave I heard Galaxy S!
however, after checking with a few shops (and the usual "yes we do have the samsung spica"), doesn't look like it's available yet!

Really hope MTN gets cracking, is quite a bit cheaper than the desire. I'm porting from CellC and if MTN gets it first, then thats where i'm going.

Load of cr$%. I've had my Galaxy S for over a month and no such issues... Any phone will scratch if you're not at least a little careful. The built quality is excellent

I lol'd. Those pictures look like he has been cleaning the thing with steel wool.
The only scratches i have on my phone are at the top and bottom of the rear case. And thats only because those are the only 2 points that actually make contact with the surface i put it on.

Then you DEFINITELY dont want an iPhone! I've got a black one and if you hold it in the sunlight and look at the back cover, you actually wanna start crying.

Fortunately it doesn't show indoors.
