I've been reading on the Desire thread that most people can't get a full day of battery life and those that do turn of nearly all the cool features to make it last. How does the galaxy s do?

That's damn cheap, buy it! And buy a few extras to sell. It cost me R5500 to import mine, and it's going to be at least R6500 when it's out here.
Why do SA cellphone shops only stock those stupid car mounts that go on the windscreen using a suction cup? I went all over a shopping centre looking for one that mounts on a vent or the dash. Guess I'll have to buy one online.
This one posted by Tim182 earlier looks cool, but how does it work? http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-Stand-Mount...20-/280545367570?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL
I don't want to order online though because it will take ages to arrive. Does anyone know where I can get some kind of decent car mounting solution? Or do I really need to use presstick like my mother suggested?
Does anyone else see this or know anything about it? It doesn't seem like a major problem now, but it does worry me a bit.
When in the sun or under bright light I can see a two vertical lines near the sides and a horizontal line on dark/black colours and when the screen is off. As if those pixels have a grey/brown tint to them. The line is mostly one pixel thick but in places it is two pixels.
They are almost impossible to see unless under sunlight where they are clearly visible where the screen is black.

That's the motherboard underneath the screen or some kind of connector. All SGS have those lines, you can see theme specially well under neon light, nothing to worry about. If you look closely it is actually a square![]()
@Tim: Hmm, guess I'll buy one then. It does look a bit odd though, hard to imagine that stand being reliable.
