On what contract did you guys get yours? and did you have to pay in? I have to upgrade now as well, but am on CellC and am looking at porting to MTN...

Vodacom Talk 120, R1499 pay-in or R74 x 24 finance
 
The "vibrant" one apparently is a little slow due to the lack of ram :)

i want the later one aswell :) if mtn could just release the stock ! i've done my upgrade form and everything, and its R700 pay in on the anytime 500 contract @ R508 a month, or R539 a month :) so its pretty decent !i just have to wait for them to release it :(
 
Its R419 on anytime 350, i rate that is a better deal than the 200 :) R100 more for R150 more airtime !

I'm thinking of getting it on the anytime 750 package for 689 a month. I went to mtn yesterday and asked them how much it would cost to get a anytime 750 without a phone and they said 750. So I am going to take it with the phone
 
yup but they said thats just the standard cost they have, they will look at my usage and all that, but that's my max price :)

im on the 500 already anyway so its chilled ! and i have BIS on top of that at the moment, so its like R570 a month. So it will be cheaper actually :)

and yes i must irritate the ***** out of them, i phone a lot :) i'm a tech geek ! they can't keep me away from my W@reZ!

im sorry to be the bearer of bad news buddy ! but that is for teh galaxy spica ;) go look at their price list, the galaxy Spica is R689 on anytime 750.

the Galaxy S (i9000) is R779 on the anytime 750

Ai dude, that is bad news. But I specifically asked for the S. And I am certain if you take the contract without a phone you should get it for cheaper. I don't think the lady I spoke to knows what she was doing. I am currently on the anytime 350 with BIS. But I need to go on a higher package anyhow as I come a week short everymonth now. If I upgrade do I immediately get 500 a month for 27 months? Or how does it work?
 
I don't know if it is in the shops yet, but the special came out on the 17th of august.
