On the right network yeah easy. Telkom mobile is so much more efficient. Vodacom with the VoLTE and Vowifi the battery drains way to quickly for my liking.

I thought roaming would chow more battery

With Telkom even if you have 1 bar signal it's still not eating battery so not sure what they did but it's working well.

So I am at an point I would like outsiders opinions. I am fortunate to have the option of either Samsung Galaxy S10+ or Huawei P30 Pro or any phone really under the MTN offering. I have been Samsung pretty much my whole life and mostly on Note's until recently that I had to get a second hand S7 as my note died. I would love to wait for the Note 10 but I don't see me lasting long with my current phone so its looks like I could get the Note 9 but it is a generation behind the S10+ and even the Huawei P30 Pro. What are your thoughts?

My S10Plus is the best phone I have owned. Upgraded from the S8Plus and the upgrade is very noticeable.

My wife upgraded from the S9Plus and she agrees.

Hi all, a question the battery consumption between dual and single sim devices. Is there a noticeable difference in the dual battery consumption
No idea as I don't have a single sim to compare it to. My screenshot a few posts above is from my dual sim S10+ with both sim slots used with Telkom sims.

I have been doing the manual updates as xfa and xfv all full under same csc now. Downloaded the may security patch.

How are all you s10 owners enjoying your devices. Seriously loving mine.

I have the S10e and very glad Samsung made a flagship without the curved screen (the only reason I haven't been buying them).

Can't complain much except battery life could be better and the fingerprint sensor can sometimes be a bit iffy due to it being quite small.

Has anyone removed or replaced their pre installed screen protector? Dropped my phone last weekend on a hike. Screen protector is damaged, but I think the screen is ok. Marks are mostly noticeable when the screen is off. There is a few scratch marks as well. 20190524_134840.jpg

I removed mine after a week as it was scratched very easily.
So far the glass is holding up and the phone feels much much better.
