Samsung Galaxy S10

Vodafone called me earlier to offer me an upgrade early, at no upfront cost. Should have my S10 in a couple of days.
 
My Battery Life is extremely shite and I don't know how to fix it.......

easy fix... get a Huawei !!
Sold all my high end phones and was pushed to buy a P30 lite. I'm impressed, so I searched and found a Mate 10 Pro. Going to start using today.

I agree with you.
Noticed this, with most of my old Samsung Note devices and also with the S range devices .
Recently also read a few web articles, regarding the "value drop" of Samsung devices.

I'm seriously considering, if it's worthwhile
paying such high amounts for a device .?
(I'm thinking of getting Note 10 )
Then a few months later, i read that my latest devices, is valued at half the price.!

I am seriously considering waiting on the s11 reason being leakster ice universe has mention the changes between s10 and n10 are minimal the s11 will be getting a big camera improvement, design the camera hole in front will be smaller than note 10 and then the new chipsets so i think i must wait.. I change phones too often and I have lost too much in recent months. My one s10plus i paid 15500 got 9500. Cant and wont be making such stupid mistakes anymore. Seems apple are the only handsets that seem to retain value. And with the $1200 estimated price for the n10.... Cant inagine our prices if the s10plus was like R24k

I paid R11800 for my new S10+ a little while ago...
 
Not sure why people are surprised that they can't resell their Android phones for what they paid for them. They have NEVER, in their history, been able to retain the value. If you want to buy to resell, get an iPhone.

Yes, i would agree if you want to "buy to resell" .
In my case I like the "freedom" of Android. I like to theme a device/tweak/hack
eg Klwp, Substratum, BxActions, Nova launcher etc ( without rooting )
Android gives me those choices.!
Unfortunately,
Iphone is "locked" more than Android.

When it's time for an upgrade, then only
do i want to resell my device.!
So i actually , " don't buy to resell"

Issue is I don't like tweaking I feel like It damages my phone very deluded opionion lol.

Just to clarify - I bought a new phone, not second hand. Came with headphones as well.

On another note - anyone have issues with the "always on" with their S10? Mine is only on when I tap it it to get fingerprint scanner online.
 
The last S phone to make any profit on would of been the S8 since the s9 was very similar . If you had sold your s8 just before the launch of the S10 you would of still gotten some decent deals . Now it's too late . The s8 is worth 3/4K second had with accessories if you lucky . The s9 is just too closely priced to something like a pixel 3a and a second hand S10.

Absolutely the s9+ seems to be selling at a much better resale value... The note 9 has actually kept its value too. I think the best sellers imo s4 and the s7e range hands down for me
