Making the same move in October when my upgrade is due (S8 to S10, though - no need for a phablet). Not much else in the market that catches my eye at the moment.

I looked at both the S10 and then the plus. This "phablet" term is a bit of a misnomer these days - I prefer the larger size (yes - that's what she said, I hear you say). Plus the larger battery.

As I only started with my new phone on the weekend, what I can report is that the battery life is far superior to my previous S8+. Also the recharge time. I think I might have had a bit of a dud with my S8 when it came to this.

Strangely, although it's the same sim card and the same network (Vodacom), viewing online stuff via it's inherent 4G (no wi-fi connected) is far faster.

I was given the S10+ as a gift yesterday, it really is a nice phone.
I'm having an issue importing my SwiftKey dictionary from my Google account. I have tried everything but cant get it right.

What model did you get? Did you have any region unlock issues or did you make a 10min local call before bringing it back?

I'm looking to get one from the US as well, it is the SM-G970FZYJTPA (SM-G970F/DS) and I've read that the dual sim models shouldn't be region locked.

Will an Amazon S10 work in SA?It says Unlocked by Samsung.

why are you taking the risk of doing this. The S10e is available locally for around R8500,00 from 3rd party sellers.

How is the S10e overall? Im looking to change from a Note 9. I am fed up with the curved screen and the shitty screen protectors. How is overall battery life / performance?
Also looking to get the Dual Sim model from Cell C or Telkom.

Performance is great. Cany complain about battery life either. Love the size of the s10e.

Why not wait for the note 10?
It's not very wise to trade a world class note 9 for the entry level S10E maybe S10+ the trade will be worth it.

Any idea when the Note 10 will be available. I dnt know if i should wait or just grab the s10+. I currently use the Note 8.
