I don't think it is massive drain or Samsung wouldn't have bothered adding it at all.
However, there is a drain, which is why I like this replacement. There are settings for everything, including saving your battery.
To each his (or her) own - you don't use the AOD wheras I not only use it, I also like an eye-candy uber variation of it.

I started using AOD out of necessity. With every Samsung S I've owned I've known I need to check my phone when I've received a text or email because of the tiny notification light blinking. In their infinite wisdom, Samsung removed it with the 10, and didn't offer a valid alternative.
 
Used to get massive over night drain with always on display so I decided to disable it used to lose like 15% over night.
 
Just had to Force Restart my S10.

Screen just went blank when screen lock went on. Did not want to unlock was just blank even when the phone rings it rings but does not display anything..... SO far the S10 is the worst phone I ever owned.

I highly suggest you literally start from scratch. Total factory reset. Download new firmware from Sammobile. Use Odin to apply.
Sounds like your phone was made at 4.30pm on a Friday. No love added as everyone wanted to go home.
 
Hey guys I have a glass screen protector for my S10e but the responsiveness is terrible. Any recommendations for a good screen protector glass or plastic film ?
 
Anyone else having battery issues with the S10e ? Phone is only 2 months old but the last couple of days the battery seems to only last half a day yet the battery analysis says it is fine.

I was just about to post this same issue! Ive tried all the tips and tricks but my phone keeps draining 2 -3% while not using it. Im starting to wonder if its a network thats draining my battery, Im on telkom, what network you on?
 
@zubheir Dual sim have an afrihost (data and airtime) and the telkom (data only). I have switched off the telkom data and will check if the battery life improves substantially (Should already improve a bit with 1 sim)

I just spoke to my brother. He has the S10e on MTN. He says he has excellent battery life. He says he has 30% battery life after a day of maybe 3 phone calls and a lot of social message typing.
 
Then my phone might have an issue. The analysis on the phone says everything is fine might need to take it in

I just did a small test with mine. Switched to a cell c sim and my battery stayed at 62% for 90mins. The moment I switched to telkom it drained 4%. So now I cant even use my telkom contract sim. Telkom is the culprit with my phone

If your phone has to constantly look for a stable tower, it will drain your battery quicker.

Was on a farm with only Wifi this weekend and with general use the phone lasted a day and a half. Must be the signal issue
 
Feb update just came through this morning - Telkom S10
