Has anyone here done battery replacement?
Looks like a real pain.

I'm still undecided whether to go with wefix or Samsung directly

use the chatbox, they just quoted me R950 to replace the battery on my s10

I see "The real repair co" does a battery replacement on all S10 models for R749. Link

Not sure how safe these guys are compared to wefix, but R749 seems like a good deal. Also concerned if they guarantee the water seal after the repair.

I've thought of upgrading my phone but there's no point. I love the size and features, it's just the battery letting me down. Was at 60% yesterday and went to the shop... 3 hours later it was dead. Wasn't even using it that much.

Still not winning with this drain.

Phone reset. No google account linked and on wifi.

20min later lost 2% battery already. Not sure if it's MTN because that is the only thing that changed. I ported from Cellc to MTN.

I noticed my battery got worse when I changed from MTN to FNB Connect.

I noticed my battery got worse when I changed from MTN to FNB Connect.

I'm on MTN. VoLTE and VoWifi enabled but still struggle. I believe it's the network because on Telkom it's not as bad.

MTN has 3 towers really close to me so I think the phone keeps scanning these stats and switch towers causing the drain. I finally gave up and just switched to my new Huawei P40 lite 5G. It's on 5G signal now 24/7 wih VoLTE and no drain.

I'm getting a Poco X3 GT soon so I will just sell the S10. It's not so great anymore.

My phone has become laggy and the battery doesn't even last a day. Going to finally factory reset to see if it makes a difference.

I ditched my s10 for the Poco x3 gt because the battery of the S10 can't even last 4 hours.

Yeah its either a battery replacement or the S22 for me.

Tired of waiting for MTN to release the Android 12 update, so just went the SamMobile route today:

Upgraded just fine, but did a factory reset afterwards and works great.
