Nope, 512MB RAM.

And when they ran Quadrant benchmarks, the Gingerbread dual-core got 2633 points, while I got 2069 with my Froyo single-core phone. So very very happy with my Desire HD. ;)

Dude, please, go read the official Samsung site I posted as well as gsmarena.com who were attending the event in Barcelona. It's 1GB DDR2 RAM. Stop being foolish now.

Haha, very sneaky of you to do that 20 minutes after I posted my last post. You could have just replied as per normal but opted to sneakily edit your post to make me look like an idiot. Ego fail.

Changed it back for you. ;)

:)

Relax mercurial!

My phone is now just a piece of junk and the Samsung Galaxy S 2 will conquer the whole world. Like you said, "Your phone has quickly become ancient".

I must live with the pain, while you can buy your plastic monster and reduce me to tears. :p

1GB RAM
32GB mass mem and expandable
Super-AMOLED Plus display
USB-OTG (take that crappy Symbians! :p)
1650mAh batt
HSDPA 21mbps!!!!
Exynos dual-core CPU
Android Gingerbread
HD1080p@30FPS with HDMI

WHAT A MACHINE!!! Thanks for announcing my upgrade SAMSUNG!! :D

Ag no my Galaxy S is outdated already :(
This does look awesome but I'm gonna wait a while before throwing away money again :p

Meh I'm happy with my phone, I dont run anything that needs a 1ghz processor so the specs I have are already probably wasted on me. SGS 2 looks great on paper but the real issue will be the battery, with a larger screen and heavier specs I can't imagine it being very good, especially with stock samsung firmware.

Good looking phone, impressive specs. Only 20 months to upgrade time :(

Sign me up :) no serious, when does this beast get released so i can get 1.

Stock Samsung firmware? It runs Android, dude.

Android is the OS, Samsung relase their versions of the firmware. Then you also get custom firmwares where the phone doesn't actually lag or randomly die.

No, they don't release their own version of Android. Google does that. The only new thing that Samsung runs is the TouchWiz interface. Everything else is Android, as per Google.

The custom firmwares are far from perfect. Different users have different experiences. Random crashes/reboots are part of the process to creating a perfect firmware.
