Wow. Was trying to take a screenshot but instead got a funky feature when pressing the home and power buttons. It's like a list of your last 10 processes in large icons fashion. It's really very cool, showing for example pics of Facebook, Gmail and Tapatalk. Press one and it reopens that app.

Screenshot is now volume down and power btw.

Thats the new task manager thingy which shows your most recent apps. The one you get when you hold the home button

Hehe, so I see. Nothing to do with the power button at all

Cool feature though, looks great.

I'm downloading LPQ at the moment. If I remember correctly, the previous time I flashed LPH I only ticked PHONE in Odin and then selected the downloaded file (after extracting). Is this correct? Or do I have to do the same for PHONE, PDA and SCS? I don't really know what each means. I'm downloading the multi SCS file from XDA. Thanks for advice!

Do you guys also have both SuperSU and SuperUser after rooting? Whats up with that?

Ok, some feedback.... Yesterday, tried to load the ICS Domination theme, after reboot, phone hangs on loading screen... I then reflashed LPQ, then my apps started not working, Gmail, Internet, TapaTalk... basically everything that required an internet connection. I the rerequested the settings from Voda, but that didn't help... Also, my homescreen widgets kept on unseating themselves..... Strange times....

Only PDA - Phone and CSC are only used if you've got the 3 individual files, rather than the unified one you've downloaded.

Phone??? Not PDA???

According to Intratech:
Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar or .tar.md5 file that you extracted in step 1

If the package has more than one .tar archive then they will be labelled with PDA, Phone/Modem and CSC. Just put them in the corresponding section of Odin

I have doen a clean wipe and flashed again.

Now everything seems to work.

I did not know that google automatically downloads and installs all the apps that you had installed previously.

It even remembered my wi-fi password. Awesome.

Get Mobile Odin to flash, it is super easy and it even keeps your root.

You just place the firmware on your phone and when asked to choose a file then point the app to the location. The app will do the rest automatically, no worries about where to put what. It is very noob friendly.

You didn't hear it from me, but there is a Lite (free) version over at xda-developers... Shhhhhht...

Totally agree!! I used it last night to flash XXLPQ and it was super quick and easy.

I don't know what people are talking about when they say its the same as GB? Definitely different look to ICS. Icons are updated and a few extra features added - quite enjoying the Face Unlock, though don't know how secure it is ;-)
Everything seems to work fine after updating apps. The only complaint I have is no text reflow with zoom when using the stock browser, though the browser in general does look better. Anyone know a fix/work-around/update for the text reflow problem? Or am I missing some setting somewhere?

Battery has gone down pretty quickly, but I have been playing around on the phone quite a bit ;-P So will still have to test it more "normally" in the next few days.

Shouldn't one have to recalibrate the battery and wipe it's stats after flashing a ROM? I thought you had to do that.....

Also, has anybody noticed the sensitivity on the screen has gone done a bit...? Sending a few messeges on Whatsapp had me double pressing a few times to get the letters to appear.... Over on Xda, Vertumus has stated he will be releasing a new theme for LPQ, giving it a complete Vanilla ICS look, without the need to 3rd party apps...(Sounds Good)....

They are referring to TW Launcher, making it look and feel almost exactly like GB... I do think it's a case of the sites and reviews of ICS giving us images of vanilla ICS, as seen on the Nexus, thus painting a solid picture in our minds as to how it's suppose to look, but Samsung have reused the old TW Launcher. They could have either given users a choice of Launchers with the update, or at least given TW a newer, fresher look closer to ICS....

Personally, I'm now using Nova with LPQ, and it seems to be giving a good feel of ICS.... I'm maybe going to load up the new theme from xda, pending reviews on their site... I do feel there will be a lot of users that will question the update, because visually, there is hardly a difference....

I'd imagine the look will always be the same and consistent across the Samsung android range. They have to add the Samsung look to a Google product so Touchwiz ain't going anywhere I reckon.

For me though, there is a completely different feel about ICS. I'm very pleased with the upgrade and can't stop scrolling in circles marveling at the ice cream smoothness :)

Fair enough, I do understand that point yes.... For some strange reason, I'm noticing quite an increase in the snappiness of the UI when using Nova over TW.... Before loading Nova, having just flashed and factory reset, it felt the same as GB, but when I loaded Nova and all my other apps from Titanium, it seemed snappier, quicker and spent less time in transitions... (If that makes sense...) Weird thing this update is....
