Your advice to everyone has been nothing short of fantastic and a big help to all of us. There are so many knowledgeable guys here that are always willing to help anyone and everyone out. This thread has been going strong for more than one and a half years now, with posts everyday, without fail. I never thought this thread would turn out this great!
It just shows that:

Definitely one of the few phones that has stood the test of time....and still continues to do so.
So "Vreestyle" has some awesome themes for RR3.0.4, as flashable zip files that you can download. But wheneven I try to copy the .Zip files to my phone i get a message saying "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected".
Anyone know what this is about? I can copy the ROM.zip file and anything else just fine...
EDIT: IT was a result of a bad download server it seems, just had to make sure the files downloaded completely.

Never tried it myself, but it does work (I use a jig to get rid of the triangle and reset counter). Chainfire knows what he does and any product/app of his will work just fine.

I use it also, as the jig doesnt work with ICS (unless you install an old bootloader, which im too lazy to do)

Just a warning out there - had a soft brick last night after trying to flash teh CM9 Stable over a nightly using Rom Manager. Am sure the warnings were out there but i didnt heed them. Phone ended up in a bootloop and i had to install the KI4 gingerbread rom to ressurect it...needless to say the flash bug has deserted me
so don't flash uwing Rom manager - use CWM ;-)

I said the same thing when I lost my EFS folder. Took me about a week to recover - although to be fair I have been on one ROM for over 2 weeks now (RR 3.0.x)...

How is RR 4.0x? I have seen it mentioned many times but everytime i try download it the DL konks out :|
I have been using MIUI-2.7.27
The first Siyah Kernel I got was 3.5.2 it had ok battery life but it kept jumping on to Kernel Panic Mode. Battery lasted full 24 hours.
Then Siyah 4.0 which was nice, got like 40 hours with heavy use. but my phone kept freezing and Kernel Panic Mode too.
Switched to Siyah 4.1 beta 6 and it works smoothly but battery life was weak.
back to 4.0 hopefully wont have the same problems. I am on 78% battery, for 12 hours with 2 hours of on screen time. Charged it full before bed and it only drops 2% with wifi and data off, which is nice.

Usually happens with me to.It is really annoying.Sometimes it take me 2-3 time before a download completes.Luckily with 4.0.4 there were some torrent links.Torrents never fail for me so hopefully those kind folks will provide torrent links in the future.4.0.4 battery life has drastically improves so I'm pleased.
